Charter Date: 12/12/1860
Originally chartered on 03/14/1796 as Fayette Lodge under MW Paul Revere. The charter was lost during the mid 1800's and a "new" Lodge was formed in 1860. The first regular communication of Quinebaug Lodge was held January 2, 1860, in a building owned by Larkin Ammidown, located on the north side of Main Street.

Charter members were from Olive Branch Lodge of West Sutton, wearied of driving the six miles of bad road's to attend Lodge meetings, petitioned Grand Lodge to form a new Lodge in Webster. Their first meeting was held at old Baptist Church, standing on the site of the present stone church on East Main Street
